Who We Are
An independent, non-profit volunteer organization, the BLF was founded in 1974 by Doris Hass and a group of other concerned citizens. Now, as then, the Foundation enables members of the Boulder community to support their Library through tax-deductible gifts.
The Foundation’s directors are chosen from a diverse background, ethnically, economically and professionally. The current directors are:
|Barbara Kostanick, President
Carl Manthei, Vice President
Elissa Guralnick, Secretary
William Kellogg, Treasurer
The Foundation honors Doris Hass with a special designation, Founder’s Chair, in grateful recognition of her inspired work on the Foundation’s behalf for more than three decades.
