BoulderReads! helps people discover the power and joy of reading through:

• One-on-one volunteer-based literacy tutoring for adult learners.
• Reading Buddies program for children of adult literacy students.
• Art and writing workshops.
• Literacy services for Boulder County jail inmates.
• Family literacy programs.
• BoulderReads! computer lab.
• Collections providing over 2,000 books and publications for learners and tutors.

The BLF maintains an endowment specifically for the support of BoulderReads!  It also provides funds for the annual publication of Discoveries, the award-winning annual story collection written by adult new readers enrolled in BoulderReads! and is the primary sponsor behind the Reading Buddies program.
